Allies Training- A Call for Mesa Educators

  • Mesa Public Library - Saguaro Room 64 E 1st St Mesa, Arizona 85201

Educators play a key role in our community. They are seen as role models and bearers of information.

Many educators have noticed how their students have been concerned with the new administration’s enforcement priorities. Many educators witnessed how so many of their students didn’t come to school on “A Day Without an Immigrant.”

Are you an educator who has experienced any of the things above and want to better support your students and families, but don’t know how?

If the answer is yes - we invited you to our “Ally Training: a Call for Mesa Educators” to discuss practical things that you can do to better help & support our students and our community!

You will hear from educators; Aliento, a community organization that advocates for immigrant children, youth, and families; and, the ACLU, a civil rights organization!

Invite a friend and bring your collaborator hat! We want to hear from you and collectively create a safer environment for all students! Please register so we can better prepare our training.

We are excited to see you there!
