In April we talk about our community super powers! We will unite our super powers for an evening of sharing what makes us powerful together and what makes each of us super. Come and share with us your superpower.

April also happens to be stress awareness month. What are some things that causes us stress? What are some injustices that stress the heck out of us? If you and our community could obtain a super power to get rid off the stress and off the injustices in our world, what would those superpowers be? Join Aliento Open Mic at the Phoenix Youth Hostel to engage, experience, and co-create the POWER OF US!

Aliento First Fridays’ Open Mic is a welcoming space where we can be whole, feel safe, and be in community. (It is not required to have a “perfect” piece, or experience as a performer - although if you have experience you are also very welcome!)

Come to listen and/or share your stories, songs, poems, and dances that connect us, unite us, and make us feel alive in our community.

Together we can transform these difficult times by sharing our support, inspiration, and hope for each other. Everyone is welcome. We hope to see you there!
