For this open mic, we will be opening up the space for folks to talk about what being Latine/Hispanic means to them. Identity can be a complicated realm to navigate. The terms Hispanic and Latine/x themselves can evoke different feelings from people. We want our fall open mic to be a space where our community who identifies with Latinx/Latine or Hispanic can share their thoughts on their, good or bad. If you identify as an ally, we welcome and invite you to the space to listen to impacted people and stand in solidarity.
