ALIENTO has helped 443 families through mixed status relief fund!
Earlier this year we started a relief fund to economically support mixed-status families that were left out of the government's stimulus package. With the support of the community, we helped 443 families who lost their jobs, had reduced hours/income, were behind in their rent, utilities and struggled with food. These families are facing really hard times economically and mentally due to the pandemic.
Because of the amazing generosity of the community, we were able to raise over $221,500! This money was distributed to families from all over the valley in Arizona and across the nation!

"My family and I have been affected by this pandemic through financial hardship. My parents at first got unemployed and just recently, I did as well. Without an income, it is difficult to manage to pay the bills and expenses for not just us but also my younger siblings."

"My mother has lost her job due to testing positive for covid. It has been hard because she was the only one working at the moment. I lost my job because I couldn't renew my fingerprint clearance card. I'm waiting on my renewed work permit. This help is going to come in handy for us to pay our utilities . We are very thankful."
