“Being someone who grew up in a mixed-status family I can not tolerate all of the injustice that the immigrant community has been bombarded with. I am proud to join the Aliento team and even more excited to learn how compassion and commitment can turn into change.”

“I look forward to growing alongside an organization that values and focuses on the resiliency of immigrants and their families. I hope to become a better ally by helping Aliento highlight immigrant's voices and stories, creating spaces in Arizona where immigrants and undocumented people feel welcome, heal, and thrive.”

At Aliento, we believe that youth should be at the forefront of our immigrant rights fight here in AZ and beyond. Our internships aim to empower the youth of today by giving them the opportunity to create the change of tomorrow.
