ZOOM recognizes Aliento as a Global Leader!

Aliento is one of eight global organizations awarded the Adolescent Mental Health Grant by Zoom Cares.

Aliento was awarded this multi-year grant to continue to support our Cultiva program grounded in bringing our arts & healing workshops, mental health initiatives, and support for undocumented and mixed-status families in the height of the pandemic. Over the next two years, we hope to reach 2500-3000 students through our programs.

American Dream and Promise Act of 2021 (HR6) Passes in the House of Representatives

SCR1044 In-State Tuition for All Arizona High-School Graduates Passes the Senate

On March 4, 2021 SCR 1044 passed the Senate 17 to 13 in the 55th Arizona Legislative Session, which will provide in-state tuition to all students who graduate from a high school in Arizona, regardless of immigration status.
